ImageContinuing research and development is an essential part of the commercial success of Treepak and its mission “To enable mass reforestation using automated technologies to produce, plant and grow millions of trees.”

With our partners we research and develop more efficient technologies for the mass reproduction of trees using bio-technology, and the improvement of our selection of species of trees appropriate for diverse environments.  Research and development is an essential part of Treepak’s strategy to combat global warming.  We develop technologies to combat global warming that are available for use today; and engage in long term research and development for the future.

Alongside our own Research and Development facilities we seek partnerships with universities and research and development agencies that are at the forefront of their field.  Our partner in the forestry sector is Forest Research, the research agency of the UK Forestry Commission.  Forest Research is the principal UK organisation engaged in forestry and tree related research.

We share a common commitment to research and to bringing to market new technologies which reduce the amount of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, and create low carbon renewable energy sources.  In particular we work with the micro-propagation of trees as an aid to reforestation as well as plant growth in arid or saline conditions.  By developing commercial products and by-products from suitable trees and plants we ensure that land is put to productive use.

ImageResearch and development is a central platform of Treepak’s work.  One of the company’s core competencies is its ability to generate new ideas and develop them into financially and environmentally viable projects.
