Treepak is an ethical and environmental company that is committed to sustainable development in a profitable and commercial way. We measure and report on our performance to all our stakeholders in the three core areas of financial results, environmental impact and social consequences.
Financial Treepak aims to be a highly profitable company to ensure that we can expand and achieve our aims of combating global warming through mass reforestation. If we are to make the difference that must be made to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere we must have the resources to develop and implement our scientific and technological innovations. To do this we must operate from a secure financial base. Economically sound projects with valuable by-products secure the long term viability of Treepak’s operations. We expect our financial stability to provide the incentive for investors, governments and land owners to supply new projects. Environmental As an ethical and environmental company we take our environmental performance very seriously. We consider the impacts of our projects during the development stages, pre-implementation, during implementation and we keep an ongoing watch throughout the often very long lives of our projects. Our Scientific Advisory and our Environmental Ethics Boards are a major asset in this regard. Social In order for Treepak to expand globally and maximise our impact against global warming we take into account the social conditions of the territories in which we operate as well as the social consequences of our projects. Our Environmental Ethics Board considers the social aspects of our scientific and technological innovations as part of their remit. The environmental health of the communities where we operate are crucial for the success of Treepak’s long term operations in diverse regions of the world. We believe that reporting in an honest and transparent way helps build trust and motivates all our stakeholders: staff, customers, suppliers, shareholders; as well as the communities in which we operate. Our reports focus on the issues that most affect business performance and matter most to our stakeholders. That is why we are committed to sustainable development; and ‘mass reforestation to combat global warming’ remains our over-riding goal.
