Treepak has developed a specially designed container for mass reforestation.  The container holds a variety of nutrients that will nurture the tree plantlet until the sapling is established.  This ensures a much higher survival rate than traditional methods of planting.  The Treepak is a narrow cone with stabilising devices to hold it upright made of translucent and biodegradable material that can be planted by hand; or by being dropped from the air.

The Treepak container contains vitamins, minerals water retention gels and compounds to combat disease so that the seedling can successfully develop itself in its first two years.  This allows the tree to establish itself in its final location.  An individual plantlet is placed in a Treepak container on an assembly line to produce the millions of trees needed for our mass reforestation.

The Treepak is designed to be planted by hand or from the air by helicopter, for planting large or inaccessible areas.  When dropped from the air the impact assists the tree to establish itself.  Aerial delivery means that the trees can be delivered to a wide variety of locations and at a much faster rate than by hand.  The Treepak is bio-degradable and does not damage the environment.

Treepak’s automated technologies enable millions of trees to be produced, planted and grown.  By nurturing the saplings in the initial years of growth, our novel containers give the trees a much greater survival rate than traditional methods of planting.
